| CITY OF... FESTIVAL - IN MY
HOMETOWN! |
Summer time is coming and with it lots of cool open air festival
where you can enjoy all these lousy bands, dance and sing-a-long like weirdest
weirdo, talk to the nicest girl/boy you ever met (or at least you feel like
it) or simply drink yourself to sleep. I simply love it and I must do everything
to catch at least some of them....
Today I want to recommend you a special one ? it is called
CITY OF... FESTIVAL and it will happen in Mostovna / Nova Gorica (Slovenia)
on 1st and 2nd of July 2005. Some of my little kiddies named DON'T
MESS WITH TEXAS and ENTREAT. will rock on the festival and since my headquaters
are in that city I will be the one and only special guest of the festival.
Along my little kiddies there are tons of cool bands worth
seeing - THE QUEERS (USA), CHILDREN OF FALL (S), THE SECRET (I), THE DEATH OF
ANNA KARINA (I), OVERMARS (F), DEBELI PRECJEDNIK (HR), SURVIVING THE SUNSET
(A), LASTING VALUES (HR), ANGELS.MAY.BLEED (I), LEAF-FAT, THA FLOW, FINAL APPROACH
and MOZAK (SLO).
But like I said in the beginning, music is not of biggest importance
for many. That's why music program will be accompanied with video projections
and after the show there will be wild disco party until the morning. Free camping
will be possible on the courtyard of Mostovna, there will be space for distros,
lots of vegan food and
drinks, and especially delicious coffee in the morning.

DON'T
MESS WITH TEXAS will play this Sunday at Mochvara in Zagreb. Entrance is
free, party starts at 17:00. I'll bring Moonleecake and Moonleetea. You should
bring something sweet too! Eiscream would be perfect! They'll start to play
around 19:00, before it gets dark. It'll be fun, don't miss it!

(in Croatian only): "Nakon simpaticnog proslomjesecnog druzenja evo nas
opet u drustvu s Mister Moonleejem i njegovom malom obitelji. Ove nedjelje po
snobovskom obicaju potomaka engleskih osvajaca zakazujemo sastanak za 17:00
kada na stol u dvoristu iznosimo Moonleetea, a odmah za njim i Moonleecake.
Nakon toga, kad stres popusti, Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen NX u vlasnistvu RayLeeO-e
(citaj: Relje) za ovu priliku namjesten na Shuffle pocinje se brinuti za glazbenu
podlogu, a mi se prepustamo uzicima okusa i usputnog cavrljanja. Jos se nece
niti smraciti, a na scenu će izaci ni manje ni vise nego DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS

| STILL HOT! - ENTREAT. "DEINCUBATION"

ENTREAT. are from Slovenia. That for itself doesn't say much,
but if you are familiar with other bands from that country you will agree that
they all feature a certain melancholic turbulence in their music. Clean tone
guitars have mixed up many music definitions and the way ENTREAT. play their
guitars labeled them emo-metal. However, their roots lie somewhere else: in
the North, deep in Swedish hardcore and metal. Now, finally out, from the infamous
Alpha Omega studio, released by Moonlee Records, comes "Deincubation",
their second album, named after the very process through which it came into
existence. ENTREAT. presents perceptions gathered in the past and marks new
directions. They point the way they are going, taking their music with them.
