Sonic X is a Hard Rock Band based out of Toronto Canada. Sonic X consists
of Adam
Troy on vocals, Lawrence Falcomer on guitar, Joseph Cumbo on bass & Michael
Marquez on drums. As one Music Industry expert stated, this band writes
hard hitting yet catchy tunes that are delivered with flawless musicianship.
The Band released their self-titled debut CD in November 2004. The CD was
well received and garnered a fair share of great reviews. The band is about
to release the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut with an offering
titled THIRTEEN. With the new CD, Sonic X has captured a truly unique sound
that has been described as a cross between Classic Rock with modern influences
intertwined.
The musicianship within the Band is second to none. Lead by the shredding
vocals of Adam Troy. Adam was born in New York City but is now based in Detroit,
Michigan. Adams unique vocal delivery gives Sonic X its signature sound.
Adam is also a seasoned pro when it comes to showmanship. Having toured exhaustively
through the U.S. previous to joining Sonic X, Adam has the charisma that
demands audiences attention. Lawrence Falcomer was born and raised in Toronto
Canada, he is a genuine Guitar master and the evidence is clear on the new
CD, THIRTEEN. Lawrence is a seasoned pro in the studio having played on many
artists recordings such as Triumph, Frozen Ghost & Final Frontier. Lawrence
is not only technically brilliant but also has an incredible sense of melody,
which is a lethal combination when performing his solos. He is a graduate
of M.I.T in Los Angeles. Joseph Cumbo on Bass Guitar was born in France but
raised in Toronto, Canada. Joseph is the bands calming influence and also
keeps the bands rhythm in check. Joseph is also a seasoned pro when it comes
to touring having toured across Canada several times with various bands.
He has been described as the glue that keeps the band together.
Michael Marquez on Drums was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Michael
is a hard hitting drummer that has played in many bands with members of established
Canadian acts such as: Alana Myles, The Blushing Brides, and The Jitters.
Michael & Joseph have been playing in Bands together since they were
in their teens, they give Sonic X its tight, pounding rhythmic foundation.
Sonic X has just signed with Chavis Records for the release of their incredible
new CD THIRTEEN. The Band is pleased and very excited to be working with
a great label such as Chavis Records. The band and Chavis Records vision
are aligned and this partnership will allow Sonic X to take the next step
in gaining much deserved recognition in the Hard Rock arena.
