Metal Heaven welcomes two new bands to the roster:

Winters Bane - Redivivus
release date: June 30th, 2006

Since their formation in 1990, WINTERS BANE has consistently created some of the most memorable heavy metal songs ever written. In their first incarnation with present ICED EARTH vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (ex-JUDAS PRIEST, BEYOND FEAR), they released the classic "Heart Of A Killer" album in 1993 (re-issued as 2-CD set by Century Media in 2000). The new and in total 3rd effort by the powerhouse US Metal outfit is the first to feature POWERGOD / ex SPIRAL TOWER singer Alex Koch on vocals and HELLOWEEN member Mark Cross on drums. "Redivivus" was produced by Curran Murphy (ex-NEVERMORE, ANNIHILATOR) and Chris Tsangarides (JUDAS PRIEST, BLACK SABBATH, HELLOWEEN), with mastering by RD Liapakis (MYSTIC PROPHECY).

The European version of the album will include four bonus tracks:

Manitou - Deadlock

MANITOU, a heavy metal band hailing from the Karhula-area (the sub-urban of Kotka), Finland, was formed sometime around 1997. "Deadlock" is their second full-length release which already has spread the #2 Finnish national sales charts single "Fools In Control" with video clip available for the same song. The album perfectly combines the Melodic Metal genre with light Progressive Metal and therefore will be a deadringer for both fan groups' top lists for the next couple of months to come:
