The Romanian singer and songriter started her professional
music career in Bucharest, during the university years. Ana studied Economics
but at the same time couldn’t stay away from music school, stage and recording
studio. Her musical talent, ambition and immediate first successes allowed her
to work and create with famous Romanian music personalities, introduced her
to the public media and helped her build an invaluable experience luggage.
The young musician played her music at first alone, comping
herself on guitar, then with different instrumentists and afterwards formed
an own band whose appearance on TV, radio, magazines and even charts wrote new
standards and music tastes. The artist continued to develop her musical abilities
on the technical side as well, and studied sound engineering and music production
in München, Germany. That's where she also improved her instrumental /
harmonical way of expression, attending for the next two years an electric guitar
course and a jazz school.
Ana Patan lives now in Germany and is an active and appreciated
musician. She's following her own music project, that melts together jazz, pop,
rock and even electronic (she's working now on a new album in her own recording
studio), teaches guitar and singing, creates music for film, commercials and
other artists, and activates as singer / guitarist with many other bands and
musicians (the band Jazzmachine for example - www.myspace.com/myjazzmachine
- is one of her heart projects, that will present soon a new album, in April
2007). For the last few months, Ana is endorser for Hohner guitars and she's
playing them by music fairs all over the world.
