Singer: Started singing in Blues bands and became a very in
demand backing vocalist on various studio sessions and live gigs for several
pop and rock bands in the early 90's! He also sang the title track of
Belgians hit comedy movie "De Zevende Hemel"...
Sessions: TEE played harmonica solos on countless radio hits,
recordings and live performances for a living during those early 90's. He would
be in
the studio playing a session for The Radios, Soulwax,
etc. or just recording soundscapes for movie and documentaries and later that
night he would be singing backing vocals with The Scabs or playing
harmonica with Noordkaap! He now is becoming a well-known guitarist
in the Blues / Roots and Soul field and is highly respected for that by his
American colleagues! He is constantly touring as a backing guitarist for American
blues-acts!
Producer: TEE produced over a hundred CDs / demos / live sessions
in the Blues-Rock-Pop and Roots scene. He produced bands like Soulwax, El Fish,
The Scabs, The Hoodoo
Club, Noordkaap, The O'Haras, The Internationals etc... the list is
too long. He was nominated twice for Best Producer and many of his productions
got awarded as best debut album or best movie soundtrack like his production
for the hit-movie "..Alles Moet Weg.." did! As a Blues / Roots producer
he's known and respected by both European - as well as the American
Scene.
Touring: TEE is also a constant seen artist as a backing band or guitarist
for American acts making use of his skills as a musician and Bandleader! He
toured both European ground as well as American ground and will be heading
for Australia during the fall!
Awards: TEE received the 2002 European Blues / press award
for "Artist
of the year 2002". In 2003 he received the award for "Guitarist
of the year" and the 2004 award "Blues album of the year" went
to... yep, TEE... for his "Lights on'' release!
Live: Meanwhile TEE has performed on the most respected festivals in Europe
like the "Moulin Blues" Ospel-Holland, the "Belgian Rhythm & Blues
Festival" Peer-Belgium, "Blues Passions" Cognac-France, "Mönsteras
Blues Festival" Sweden, the "Doheny Blues Festival" CA-USA,
and many more...
