Big Dave (born 1969 in Belgium) began playing harmonica at the age of 14. A few years later he got in touch with blues music listening to harmonica-players such as William Clarke, Kim Wilson, James Harman, etc.. He formed The Dizzy Dave Band when he was seventeen and they played steadily for about eight years. Learning more and more about the old-school blues he wanted to play forties and fifties style and so co-started The Electric Kings in 1994. This band knew a lot of recognition in Europe with their mixture of Swing, Jump and Chicago-blues. The last few years you could also hear Big Dave play as a sideman in The Elmore D. Band (pre-war blues with a 21st century approach). Influenced by all the great harp-players (both Walters, both Sonny Boys, G. Smith,...), Big Dave plays a fat-toned, straightforward harp while singing with a strong relaxed voice. The new CD, "Tellin' you", came out in September 2004 on the "nakedproductions" - label. Ayo is soul / folk / reggae musician from Paris, France. AYO is a German born artist, the offspring of a Nigerian father who had come to Germany to study in the 1970s, and sometimes worked as a DJ, and a mother who is a gypsy. AYO's rather unusual name means joy in Yoruba. Her rich cultural background is also reflected in her musical influences. She grew up amidst Pink Floyd and Fela Kuti, the Soul Children and Bob Marley, and many others. Ayo's nomadic lifestyle brought her to live between Paris and New York, two capitals that accurately sum up her musical identity. In Paris, word got around fast, and she held initial solo concerts with her guitar, opened for Omar, the British soul brother and jammed alongside Cody Chesnutt. Ayo's entire album, "Joyful", was recorded in New York under live conditions. She cries, laughs and moves us with her simplicity. To accompany her, producer Jay Newland put together a group of open-minded musicians that, with a note on a B3 organ or with a stroke of slide guitar melodiously enter this unusual world, which is studded with a few words in Pidgin, the street language of Lagos, and unveils recollections of gypsy life. Legendarna hard rock grupa Deep Purple, 03.11.2007. godine po prvi puta je u svojoj, skoro 40-to godisnjoj muzickoj karijeri, odrzala koncert u Bosni i Hercegovini - u Olimpijskoj dvorani Zetra u Sarajevu. Nesto vise od 10,000 posjetitelja uzivalo je u maestralnoj svirci starih majstora. Posebnost ovog koncerta bio je nastup tuzlanske grupe No Rules. O tom nastupu, specijalno za www.old.barikada.com, frontman tog benda, Goran Campara je izjavio: "Sinoc smo odsvirali najveci koncert u karijeri benda, a ujedno je to bio i najbolji nastup grupe No Rules do sada. Nastupili smo kao predgrupa jednom od najvecih hard rock bendova svih vremena, Deep Purple. Nismo bili najavljivani u medijima od strane organizatora ovog rock spektakla. Nastupili smo kao iznenadjenje sto je u potpunosti uspjelo. Velika nam je cast bila nastupiti ispred jednog tako velikog benda kao sto je to Deep Purple. Ovaj nastup nam je dosao u pravom trenutku jer je jos uvijek u toku promocija naseg novog CD-a "Probaj me" (Hayat Production). Organizacija koncerta je bila vrhunska - ogroman stage, jako ozvucenje i publika od 10,000 ljudi kojima se bend iskreno zahvaljuje na velikoj podrsci tokom nastupa." Nakon dugogodisnje pripreme, napokon je svjetlo dana ugledao prvi studijski album Adnana Durmica Slovenca. Album "Zadnji dani ulice" sadrzi petnaest pjesama od kojih vecinu potpisuje sam autor. Materijal je sniman u RBS studiju Ljubljana, produkciju potpisuju Slovenac i Ashar Kurtovic dok su mix i dodatnu produkciju radili Marko RBS i Ashar Kurtovic. Za omot i graficko oblikovanje zasluzan Billy Aka Marik - STF crew. Slovenac ovim albumom salje poruku svim ulicama Balkana - pjesma je sredstvo komunikacije kojim mladi covjek ukazuje na problematiku drustva u kome vladaju iskvarene drustvene vrijednosti. Deep Purple (znaci... duboko modro, crveno, moze i ... krvavo), formirani u u Engleskoj u Hertfordshireu 1968. (kad i Led Zeppelin i Black Sabbath). Odavno svjetski uzori. Cetiri decenije traju. Nomadi rock pozornica, cesto su mijenjali clanove i stil, od progresivnog rocka do zaglusujuceg tesko-metalnog zvuka. Atrakcija svuda. Prodali preko 100 miliona albuma. Kandidovani su za Guinnessovu knjigu kao najglasniji rock sastav. Sve je zaceo Chris Curtis, moze se reci, danas zaboravljeni bubnjar (prethodno u grupi Searchers). Trazio je 1967. godine pomoc od londonskog businessmana Tony Edwardsa. Trazio je da se osnuje grupa u kakvoj bi se muzicari lako mijenjali. Zvala bi se dosledno, Roundabout (vrteska). Edwardsu se to dopalo, odlucio je to finansirati. Prvoregrutovan je Jon Lord, klavijaturista klasicnog obrazovanja (prethodno svirao sa Art Woodom, bratom buduceg The Rolling Stonesa - Ronnie Wooda). Zavrbovan je i mladi gitarista Ritchie Blackmore, tezgaros iz hamburskih nocnih klubova. Usred te potrage - idejni tvorac Chris Curtis, pokazalo se - robuje halucinogenom LSD-u. Kao takav bio je neprihvatljiv na duze staze. Izopstili su ga, ali - dovoljno je uradio za istoriju. Lord i Blackmor, bijahu voljni da nastave... (...JG 178).

John Jorgenson is jazz / acoustic (Virtuoso Gypsy Swing Jazz) musician from Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America. The John Jorgenson Quintet features guitarist John Jorgenson, a founding member of the Desert Rose Band, the Hellecasters, and six-year member of Elton John's band. Artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Bonnie Raitt to Earl Scruggs have sought out Jorgenson's guitar work. Recently, John Jorgenson was chosen to portray Django Reinhardt in the feature film "Head in the Clouds". John Jorgenson is known as one of the pioneers of the American gypsy jazz movement. He has performed as a solo artist as well as collaborated with other musicians all over the world. Currently living in Nashville, John tours worldwide playing gypsy jazz with The John Jorgenson Quintet. He also performs in the UK with his electric band, John Jorgenson & Friends, and continues to collaborate with other artists live and in the studio. The Love Me Nots is garage / rock / surf band from Phoenix, Arizona, United States of America. In the hot summer of 2006, in a sweaty garage in downtown Phoenix, a brand new project was born of four longtime Phoenix rockers. Like a 60s spy-movie theme blasting through an aluminum-siding-covered one-car garage, The Love Me Nots do fuzzy, reverby, surfy, farfisa-drenched spy rock like it's 1963 again. The band's debut album was recorded by Jim Diamond (White Stripes, Romantics) in Detroit and was released January 2007, going to the CMJ Top 100 within one week and spending ten weeks on the charts. The video for "Move In Tight," directed by SCREAM-award-winner, Brian Pulido, was released in April, 2007. Prisoner is metal / rock band from United Kingdom. "We formed originally in the 1980's under the name Vixen which came from a mates band Foxy and Jimi Hendrix's "Foxy Lady" . The original line up was - Steve Gratton on vocals; Mark Howell on bass; Jeff Cooke on lead guitar and vocals; Greg Wymess on drums and finally, Paul Hume on lead guitar and vocals. Inspite of a worldwide management deal and plays on the then "new" MTV and Warner Bros Interest plus many many gigs, the band split under the pressure. Now, 2007, we have reformed under the Monicker "prisoner", named after one of our songs which you can hear on the album which we have just finished recording. 44. Glazbena tribina, pod naslovom "Susret generacija", odrzat ce se od 08.11.2007. do 11.11.2007. godine u Puli, Hrvatska. Bogati kulturni program podijeljen je u tri veceri. Nastupaju glazbena eminentna imena iz Hrvatske i inozemstva. Glazbena tribina obilovat ce i interesantnim tribinama. Poput "muzickog NLO-a", sa juga Francuske (Lozere / Gard), Oust Louba jaca svoj identitet spajanjem razlicitih muzickih sekvenci. Daleko od pracenja jedinstvenog stila, bend otvara vrata jedinstvenog muzickog svijeta gdje se spajaju elektronska, jazz i rock'n'roll muzika. Kompozicije im teku poput pripovjetke, ponekad sanjive, ponekad nabijene i energicne, no uvijek uz mudro koristenje mjena melodije i tisine. Pet muzicara crpi svoju kreativnu energiju iz razlicitih izvora tako da iza sebe ostavljaju ukus smione i zavodljive polifonije. Izvodjaci kao sto su Robert Wyatt, King Crimson, Radiohead, DAAU, Jagga Jazzist, Cinematic Orchestra, Sayag Jazz Machine... mogu se navesti kao neke od njihovih inspiracija. Ukratko receno: ovo je mocna, darezljiva i neogranicena muzicka kreacija! Oust Louba je na pocetku karijere (2000.) tezio stilu modernog i veselog ska-jazz pravca. Rezultat je bio prijatan, ali nije zadovoljio artisticke aspiracije clanova sastava. Poslije izdanja dvaju mini albuma (2002. i 2005.) i preko stotinu koncertnih nastupa, bend se upustio u projekat stvaranja albuma koji bi odrazio njihov umjetnicki napredak. Tako je nastao prvijenac, "Decocation", cija promocija je i povod njihove turneje po BiH. Oust Louba su potpisali ugovor sa kucom Gazul / Musea koja je izdavac specijaliziran u distribuciji progresivne i nekonvencionalne muzike. Njihov album se sada moze naci u cijeloj Francuskoj kao i u dvadeset drugih zemalja (EU, USA, Japan…). Pored nastupa u regionu: Ljubljana, Maribor, Mostar, Travnik, Sarajevo, Banja Luka..., Oust Louba gostuju i u Tuzli i to u subotu 10.11.2007 u Klubu Underground, sa pocetkom u 21.30h. A[r]t.an je rock / alternative band iz grada Cleveland, Ohio, United States of America. A[r]t.an je poceo sa radom 1999. godine. Jos u pocetku, bend je vecinu vremena provodio sklapajuci originalne pjesme, koji su svirane na ranijim, pocetnim, svirkama... Band malo ozbiljnije razmislja o radu na prvom studijskom snimanju. Nedugo nakon toga, band odlazi u Big Dave Sound studio i pravi prve snimke koji su bez ikakvog daljnjeg miksanja i editovanja stavljeni na CD pod nazivom "Antidijaroik". Album je izazvao interesovanja sire publike sa relativno dobrim utiscima i kritikama... Band pocinje sa vecim brojem nastupa po Clevelandu svirajuci kao predgrupa nekoliko popularnih bendova sa prostora ex-YU kao sto su Riblja Corba, Bajaga, te nastupa u Torontu na koncertu "Americka invazija" i na gitarijadi u Chicagou... Band pocinje raditi na pjesmama koje bi nasle svoje mjesto na novom albumu. Taj album je nazvan "Apokalipsa", a zavrsen je 2006. godine.
